Sun Paper Yandian Alkali Recovery Project for 600,000 ton Bleached Chemical Pulp Line: Evaporation System Achieves Successful First-time Startup

On August 24, a major milestone was reached in the alkali recovery project supporting Sun Paper's 600,000-ton bleached chemical pulp line at Yandian: the evaporation and concentration system supplied by Shengpute was successfully started up on the first attempt, marking another benchmark project in the strategic cooperation between Sun Paper and Shengpute.
The black liquor evaporation system for chemical wood pulp adopts multi-effect evaporation technology, with a designed evaporation capacity of 850 t/h and a stable outlet concentration of up to 85% DS. The project also incorporates a methanol liquefaction system supplied by Shengpute, with the entire unit commissioned and brought into production simultaneously in a successful first-time startup.
This project's smooth delivery is a testament to the long-standing trust Sun Paper has placed in Shengpute, and, above all, to the seamless teamwork of both parties' project teams across the full cycle of solution design, equipment manufacturing, installation, commissioning and start-up.
Going forward, both parties will further consolidate their strategic partnership. By delivering domestically manufactured, independently developed evaporation and crystallization equipment, Sun Paper and Shengpute will support the pulp and paper industry save energy, cut consumption and upgrade its technology, and will drive China's paper industry toward a new era of green, low-carbon, high-quality and sustainable growth together.
